50 years since the Six Day War - The story of Tel Katzir (video)

Bomb shelters were a second home for the children of Israeli village Tel Katzir whose daily lives were disrupted by bombings and shrapnel fired by the Syrian army. The strategic topography of the Golan Heights which overlooks Tel Katzir and was controlled by Syria at the time, allowed the Syrian military to bombard Israeli villages from above for close to two decades. The Six Day War of 1967 put an end to these violent attacks. Fifty years later, residents of Tel Katzir share their memories.
